- 1Add the extension from the Chrome Web Store
- 2Create an account and confirm your email
- 3Open a tab with audio, click the SubLive icon, choose your language
Requirements
- Chrome 116 or newer (for the floating subtitle window)
- A tab that is actually playing audio
If something looks wrong
- No sound after starting? Reload the tab — audio is routed back to your speakers automatically, but a stuck tab can need a refresh.
- No floating window? Your Chrome may be older than 116; subtitles then appear as an overlay on the page instead.
- Subtitles stopped? Check the extension popup — a reconnect is usually already in progress.
