What SubLive can do
SubLive puts live translated subtitles on any Chrome tab. Around that sit the features below: ways to follow a conversation, to keep it, and to share it with the people you work with.
Following the conversation
Read the speech in your language, hear it read aloud, or set the captions up so they are comfortable to read.
- Dialog modeSee who said what while people are still talking: dialog mode splits live translated captions by speaker, in any Chrome tab, with no bot.
- Hear the translationHear live speech translated and read aloud in any Chrome tab while the original gets quieter. A free browser voice or a natural AI voice.
- AccessibilityLive captions in any Chrome tab for people who are deaf or hard of hearing: large high-contrast text, speakers in colour, screen reader support.
- Video subtitlesSubLive translates a video's own subtitle track ahead of playback, so each translated line appears with the speech. YouTube and HTML5 players.
- AnswersWhen someone on a call asks a factual or technical question, SubLive writes a short answer in the Chrome side panel, next to the live subtitles.
Keeping what was said
Save the conversation as a transcript, ask for a summary, and teach the translation your own terms.
- GlossariesPut product names and team terms in a glossary, and live translated subtitles use them correctly every time, not as a model guess.
- AI summarySave a call or lecture and ask for an AI summary: what it was about, what was decided, what is still open. Off by default, same balance.
- TranscriptsSave a transcript of a call, lecture or video in Chrome, translated line by line, with speakers and your own replies. Download it as text or SRT.
